Hi, I'm Pat Prellwitz, a nurse anesthetist that served in Vietnam in 1967-1968 I was a Major in the Army Nurse Corps with the 91st Evac Hospital at Tuy Hoa from 1967 to 1968.

We had good times, we had bad times. We worked hard. We did a lot of silly things, it helped us maintain our sanity during all the stuff we saw in the operating room. Friendships were made, and friendships are still there.

I would like to wish all the vets at LZ Reflections, in the U P and Northern Wisconsin a very safe and memorable Memorial Day.

Years ago we used to lay on the beach in Tuy Hoa and we used to listen to the Armed Forces radio and there was a program called Hawaii Calls, I think. We used to lay there with our eyes closed and dream that we were in Hawaii. But anyway, it was sort of a peaceful time and I would like to dedicate a song from that program to Colonel Annie Ruth Graham, who was my chief nurse, who now appears on the Wall in Washington D.C.
